Naina Devi Temple
On the northern side of the Naini lake is built a temple dedicated to Sati and is called the Naina Devi temple.

Naini Lake
Naini Lake or Naini Taal, the picturesque blue green lake is located in the district of Nainital. It is from this lake that the city of Nainital, the beautiful settlement by the lake, derives its name.

Snow View Trek
The Snow view point is located at a height of 2270 meter above sea level. It can be reached by the ropeway or the ponies available at Nainital.


Bhimtal

Bhim Taal Lake, Uttar PradeshBhimtal, situated at a distance of 22kms from Nainital, is named after one of the Pandav brothers called Bhim. The largest lake in the district of Nainital, Bhim Tal is 1701 metres by 265 metres, 265 metres longer than Naini Lake. The lake known for its magnificent majesty is situated at an altitude of 1371.6 metres above sea level.

Bhim Tal has an island, to the north-east side, which is an exquisite gem in the middle of the lake. It is situated within the range of temple bells, which have been chiming for the last 300 years in the 17th century edifice, beneath the shadow of the towering mountain rushing precipitously down to the emerald green lake. The island is only 91.4 metres from the shore.

A QUEEN'S FIELD
The ancient Aryans had designated the region of the Central Himalayas as the Celestial Land - the Dev Bhumi; the colouring of the foliage has to be believed. March and April is flower time in the foot-hills, while June and July bring the wild flowers to the upper regions, where the dwarf rhododendron bushes resplendent with pink and mauve blooms the region in all their glory.

52 kms. from Nainital, Mukteshwar set atop a high ridge, is a beautiful Himalayan resort, surrounded by fruit orchards and thick coniferous forest.

Nanda-Devi Mela

Nanda Devi Mela is a fair of great religious and cultural significance. It is held at Nanda Devi Temple in September to commemorate the memory of goddesses, Nanda and Sunanda.

Naukuchia Tal

Situated at an altitude of 1,219 m, Naukuchiatal is picturesque lake. It has nine corners and hence the name. 26 km away from Nainital, Naukuchiatal attracts migratory birds, which makes it a bird watchers, paradise.
